Junior State Age is the largest community sporting event that Netball Queensland manages and an important event in our pathway. The four day tournament showcases grassroots netball with players 12-14 years from all over the state coming together to play the game they love.
Athletes selected in the CDNA Representative Program are afforded the opportunity to represent our association at a level suitable to their ability. The CDNA Rep Program provides the athletes an environment where they can thrive, experience teamwork, grow in self-confidence through development of skills, learn about accountability, resilience and independence and make lifelong friends.
The representative program also provides opportunities for athletes to progress through different development pathways within our region and through Netball Queensland.
Junior Representative Teams will attend day carnivals and the State Age Championships. All teams travel and go into camp the day prior to State Age Championships regardless of location. In 2026, the Junior State Age Championships will be hosted by Hinterland District Netball Assosciation, Saturday 4th to Tuesday 7th July.
Before making your commitment to trial, please be aware of the obligations required for training, carnivals and the State Age Championships.
We encourage all athletes and parents/guardians to read through the Rep Information Booklet, paying close attention to expectations, responsibilities, dates and costs (tbc).
