JUNIOR MIXED SOCIAL COMPETITION

We’re excited to announce that Caloundra District Netball Association (CDNA) will be hosting our 2026 Junior Mixed Social Competition, commencing Wednesday 7th October 2026.

The competition is designed to provide a fun, inclusive and competitive environment where junior boys and girls can enjoy netball, develop their skills and experience playing in a mixed social competition.

The competition is open to male and female players aged 11–16 years, with players aged 17 years considered at the discretion of the CDNA Boys/Mixed Subcommittee.

Playing Sections

11–13 Years Born 2013–2015
Games commence: 4:30pm

14–16 Years Born 2010–2012
Games commence: 5:30pm

*Depending on final numbers, Skills/Development afternoon may only be allocated to Junior teams, Intermediate Teams may play an additional round.

📝 Expressions of Interest

Expressions of Interest will be accepted from individual players and teams.

Team EOI

Teams can submit an Expression of Interest by completing the team nomination process.

Teams may consist of a maximum of 8 players.
Team nominations must include a Coach / Manager.
Teams should have a minimum of 2 boys and no more than 4 boys.
Teams must comply with the Interim CDNA Junior Mixed Representative Player Rule.
Representative teams are not permitted.

Individual EOI

Players who do not have a team can nominate individually.

Individual players will be placed into a team within their appropriate age group, subject to availability.
Players submitting an individual EOI may nominate a friend they would like to play with.
The Boys/Mixed Subcommittee will allocate players with the aim of creating teams that are as balanced as possible in age, experience and ability.
We will endeavour to place players with at least one nominated friend where possible; however, friend requests cannot be guaranteed, as team balancing and competition requirements will need to be considered.

Expressions of Interest Open: Monday 31 August 2026

Expressions of Interest Close: 5:00pm Friday 25 September 2026

Netball Connect Registrations Open: Saturday 26 September 2026

Netball Connect Registration Deadline: Monday 5 October 2026

All players must have completed their registration and payment before taking the court on Wednesday 7 October 2026.

Once team and player numbers have been confirmed, CDNA will issue a Netball Connect registration link to team coaches/managers and individual players.

👏 Coaching & Support

CDNA will have two Caloundra Association Coaches available each week to assist teams and players.

CDNA will also supply umpires, with umpires allocated according to the appropriate standard for each playing pool. Mentors will be utilised where required.
